92 Wow. As a Saison/Farmhouse enthusiast, this is one of the coolest places I've hung out. Several coolers of vintage beers - great selection of housemade, and ones from around the world. Absolutely loved this place. Bartender was a total sweetheart too |
90 Surprisingly large space under what appears to be an air-conditioning store. They get food trucks and let you BYO food but no food there. Draft list is solid but the in-house beers left me unimpressed (got a Superstition draft I'd never had though).
So that's all the mundane stuff. If you just look at the draft list this is a solid beer bar but not one of the top 50 places in the world, and their in-house stuff is at best unspectacular. The bottle list though is just amazing. I've seen a lot of beer traveling all over the US and Europe and they had variants (like a barrel-aged Aventius Eisbock Cuvee from like 2013) I didn't even know existed. And you can take these bottles to go.
So as a bottle shop, this place is amazing amazing amazing. As a beer bar, it's quite good (and you can drink the bottles there). Best analogue is Bottleworks in Seattle. Bottleworks is better (better drafts, better geography for beer) but the breadth of the cellar is that impressive. Worth the visit to this desolate part of Orlando - this place is really excellent. |

84 Came here on 12.3.2018 directly from the airport as it is the best rated beer place in the city. From outside it looks very average. Inside to the left they have the small brew house and some fermentation tanks. A long bar in the center surrounding some fridges and a huge board to the right, displaying the 25 beers they have on tap. Great selection including Schlenkerla Fastenbier, Uerige Alt and many rare US beers. In the fridges I saw some Belgium lambics I have never seen before. One of the best vintage bottle selection I have come across. They have only 2 of their own beers on tap. I had an excellent cask conditioned IPA (Current Fad Batch #4). My second beer was a Hanssens Oudbeitje (Belgium) also from the hand pump. Really really good! Outside the food truck serves beef and pork pulled donuts - not bad. The ambiance and acoustics (liked the music - hardcore/punk) of this place is not outstanding but the sour beer selection is one of the best in the country. |
88 Finally made it here while family out of town. Big airy space but I dig the decor. Very friendly bartender who knew her stuff. Decent well thought out draft list huge vintage bottle list. They have food trucks that park outside most nights. Their house beers very good as well. Would love to frequent but not that close to where I’m moving or my work. |
86 This place was great. An old air conditioning facility so rather large. The bar wraps around the fridge filled with beer. There is a second level where the brewery operations are. Back of the facility has some benches and tables for groups of people. Excellent selection of taps with many one off and hard to find beers here. An even larger collection of beer. Great place for any beer lover. Lights are really low but the ambiance is nice. Large project for sporting events on occasion. No food onsite but I have seen food trucks outside and occasional vendors inside. |
80 Great place. Location isn’t great though... We were here just after opening hour + happy hour. Had some decent IPA’s and sours. 2 homebrews as well. Overall a nice place, but I don’t get why this place is in the top 50 of RB... |
88 Was skeptic at first that a place in Orlando could have such a reputation, but was dully corrected. The place is simple with a rather industrial feeling. Aprox. 20 taps very well curated with a clear distinction between "plays" (sour, hoppy, malt, etc...) and a good selection of bottles and vintage bottles. Prices on everything were reasonable meaning you could get 4 or 5 pours of world class beer for under 25-30 USD. Service was great and very attentive. Loved the place and will come back whenever around. |
100 My only regret from my first visit to Redlight Redlight (at the old Bennett Road location) was that I didn’t visit sooner. Redlight consistently has an excellent selection of draft (rotating), bottle, can, and vintage beer. If you’re looking for a beer from a huge company, you probably won’t find it here, but the staff will help you find a similar and better alternate. They also serve wine, mead for the non beer drinkers.
The atmosphere is unique, relaxed, and inviting. You can shop the food trucks and nearby restaurants (many that deliver), and enjoy your meal inside. Brent and the staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and welcoming, making me a long-term repeat customer. |
66 Not too far from Cask & Larder brewpub. The best beer bar in the area. Interior was a bit too "airy" for my liking. Ok tap list but for me too much Europe-oriented. The speciality here is vintage beers. They even had Koff Porter 2009 vintage. Service was ok/normal. |
