Pub with a small but decent selection of their own beers.

The TL;DR is that when we were trying to hit as many pubs as possible in town in a short period of time, we came here twice. And we ate both times. The marinated schnitzel was glorious, and the sour potato salad that accompanies it is just perfect. Decent value too. It was a blazingly hot day, but we got a table near an open window looking out over the shaded terrace, so were happy about that; it has a strict non-smoking policy too - which seems unusual for this town - again, that made us happy. 5 regular beers, and 5 seasonal brews, and flights served. Great staff - ours properly nerded out about the beers, he even told us exactly what hops were in some of the pale ales, and recommended a drinking order. Range was varied, and quality was pretty decent too. Ten ticks and a nice full belly. See you tomorrow! Superbizzaro - the next day, there was an Estonian couple sitting at the table behind us! Small world.

Dim, low-ceiling space, with a long bar, and lots of tables. Busy and noisy. The bartenders seem to speak English to everyone by default, which is odd. They are quick and friendly, though. The tap list is pretty quality, with mostly light, traditional styles, but a couple more aggressive, crafty options. The food I had was quite good. A fun and interesting place, but feels more American than European.

2020 : Located at the end of a long street full of uninteresting looking restaurants. Close to main historic / centre. Absolutely full with lots & lots of tourists including one very drunk & loud. Smoking inside & worst smoking situation I had in Vienna. Delirium feel but worse. Old wood bar, minimum wage staff forced to do max tempo it seems. I had expectations about their beer but this was a total let-down. The prices were fair, smaller sizes available and the covered the range from pilsner to IPA to attempts at modern craft. Everything classic was bad, I had a kimchi sour which was revolting which they explained by it being sour beer, yeah not how sour beer is supposed to taste like. Total disappointment for unpleasant place, massive smoke, overly crowded and awful beer, I do not understand the love that this place gets.

Two storey brewpub in the city centre. Around 8 beers of the brewery's own in various styles. Beers were OK. Food was decent, with friendly service.

Often very overcrowded pub directly in the center. A good selection of their very good beers. Nice place to visit.

Nice and "stinky" old school taproom, exactly how I like em. Staff was young and not very experienced with English language, but help was brought from kitchen, so problem solved. 2 of their beers weren't on, but it doesn't matter. It was still nice 8 beers or so to try. They do flights and they do food. Ohhhh they do food. I tried Wiener schnitzel for 11.90 euros. I got bloody 3 full size schnitzels! Plus traditional potato salad which was weird, but nice. That was some heavy meal and delicious. Will come again for sure!

Very bustling "modern" style brewery restaurant. Food was ok. Lots of people, all ages, locals and tourists. Beer was fine, nothing great. Several styles.
