“Easy parking. Similar ambiance to the others in this chain. Service was good. Descent draft selection. The burgers are pretty good. Not a place to go way out of your way for.“

“Stopped by here for dinner in late June ’16 while in the area for business. Large, wide open space with lots of automobile paraphernalia all about. have about 20 tap selections, some regionals and locals, but nothing you cannot get at your local Applebees or TGI Fridays for the most part. Bottle selection is about the same, about 40 or so offerings. Typical fern bar menu, burgers, wraps, salads etc. I had the Cobb Grilled Chicken Salad and it really was very good and served in an unusual array. Not a beer geek destination, but fits the bill when you need to fill your belly. Very attentive service.“

“Visited mid-March, 2016. Typical World of Beer look and feel. My bartenders were very friendly and pretty knowledgeable - they left me happy. Good selection FL beers and standard WoB stuff. I didn’t try the food at this location, but I’m sure it’s the same as most WoB places. Overpriced like most WoBs. Overall, it’s not a destination stop, but if you’re in the area, it’s probably the best you’re going to do.“

“Interesting location in a strip mall, but don’t let that fool you. This is a top notch restaurant and bar. The draft lift was almost all local stuff, with a focus on ipas and some staple Belgians. Equally strong bottle list, and I’m sure there are lots of gems back there if you know the right people. The food was excellent. Pig knuckles and the seafood blt were stand outs. This is a stand out place in Florida.“

“Don’t judge it from the outside- this place is one of my favorite pubs in Tampa. The inside is an unpretentious pub with lots of fun dishes. He changes one side of the menu daily and always has a gem or three on draft. The food is outstanding with more and more new and interesting items being added. Any time I am in Brandon, I have to stop at Stein & Vine.“

“A brand new place in Brandon. The fourth of a chain, the others being in the Ft. Myers area. The concept sports bar with a garage theme.. They have many craft beers on tap and bottle, especially bottle. Served with gourmet burgers. It doesn t look like the menu will rotate much. A lot of Florida brews were available. The staff was friendly and knew their beers. The food was good. It is a cool spot to hang out.“

“Awesome location, one you’d not expect in that type of small shopping plaza. The whole place offers a genuine twist and welcome change from your average pub grub that too often offers nothing in terms of flavors and quality. A continuously rotating menu with a solid core offering mean that there is enough to go by and tickle your fancy. Gator tails were amazing, pigs wings simply unique. Nice and friendly crew with an owner whose love for his work adds cachet and a soul to this location. Modern interior with a chalet type of wooden interior. Outstanding beer offerings sporting many local breweries and doing its very best to introduce new ones from out of state. A definite must visit. This the kind of pub where the combo of well crafted food, and beer selection alongside the crew rank it far higher than other pubs.“

“Its just a dark lit bar. Oh wait it is more than just that. The server was very friendly. The draft list had a nice selection from the state and there were some rarities that I did not notice elsewhere in the Tampa area. I was somewhat impressed with the bottle list, I found a couple gems. Overall I’d go back if I was in the area.“

“Must visit if you’re in Brandon, plenty of draught and bottled beer to choose from, if you want advice on something to eat, don’t miss out on the Pig Wings, fantastic. Looks ordinary from the outside, great spacious oldie looking pub inside, plenty of seating, a good experience!“

“This place is awesome! A hidden gem like the last comment. You would never have any idea what lies behind the generic front until you walk in and then BAM! WoW. Extremely clean and new...fantastic beer selection, great food, good music and 2 steel tip dart boards in the back. Treat yourself to this beer oasis....“

“The place looks like one of those tiny generic nameless dive bars in a strip mall with the non descript PUB over the door. But once you get inside it’s a nice place. It is definitely a pub and not a bar. Everything in the place looks new even the bathrooms are clean! The food is nouveau Pub cuisine with gourmet twists on American comfort foods. The wine and beer selection rival any bar except the big guys. I can’t say enough good stuff about this truly hidden gem. If your in Brandon do you self a favor and eat and drink here. You will be back.“

“Similar to the Tampa location. Pizzas and, I reckon, the mellowed out bar crew. Nice support of local beers with fairly decent craft beer list that rotates on regular basis and with the seasons. Not much in terms of atmosphere, same thing that you get in all restaurants, bar and taps with tv playing sports. Food wise, just your typical American grub. prices are decent, service is ok depending of the waiters. Nice and laid back.“

“Visited for the firkin of CCB this past Thursday. Nice incarnation of the Mellow Mushroom concept. The service was good, the beer was good but a bit pricey, and the food is very good. I cannot resist the pretzels. With the departure of the amazing beer guy from Mellow Citrus Park, this one is the primo West Coast (of FL) Mellow Mushroom. They do several events every month and get firkins from time to time as well.“

“My family and I go here often for the pizza (and I highly recommend the pretzels). There is a decent selection of beer and I appreciate the quick offering of samples to help me decide what I want to try. The value is exceptional, especially when you aren’t charged for all the beer you drink - not sure if that is the result of some policy or a nice waitress :) Either way, I’m a dedicated regular.“

“Easy to find location in the front of strip mall off exit from I-75. Good parking all around. Bar on left with pizza ovens in the middle with table on right. Good selection of beers and good service. Had the Greek Salad, big portion at a fair price. Enjoyed the visit and on the way to Kingdom Liquor, so I will go again.“

“Tried it last night. Psychedelic pizza joint with a decent selection of draft and bottle. I had the Cigar City Jai Alai and a Majaraja on tap. Pizza was OK, if you like pizza in Florida. Our server didn’t know much more about beer than how to carry it to the table but, she did do a fine job doing that. Music was really good. Overall, very cool place. I will definitely go again.“

“Stopped by here in early April 2009. Had a wide selection of micros on tap and a solid selection of common imports from Germany, England and Belgium. Had two from Cigar City on tap which was nice. Bartender was engaging and knowledgeable of the local beer scene and the pizza as is always the case at Mellow Mushroom was top notch. Great tunes as well - been a long time since I heard Foghat’s "Slow Ride" blasting through the speakers.“

“Located in a new appearing shopping center, this is a large pizzaria with numerous mushroom themed objects hung everywhere. The beer selection is good. The daily happy hour ($2 off drafts) makes it even better. Nice seasonal offerings including a few things I had not seen elsewhere. The pizza is very good and comes in many creative styles. Service is great. Just off I-4 - makes nice stop.“

“Good pizza and decent selection of beer. Service can range from the unknowing (some of the waitresses don’t have much beer knowledge) to really good (manager Anthony - always good with striving for good draft/bottle selection, Bill and the Andreas at the bar know their stuff). Always a good stop for good pizza and good beer.“

“Visited on 6/21/08. Missed the beer section on the first trip through the store as it was on a small, low shelf on the inside left wall as we entered. Just a few bottles here (I think the 50 listed above is generous by about 50%) and nothing really that we cant find elsewhere. All organics, of course, but a few interesting beers. Dont drive out of your way to this one unless you want some natural foods as well.“

“Visited on 6/21/08. Generally, we have never been disappointed with a Mellow Mushroom because they have excellent food and a reasonable tap and bottle selection. We can typically find something we enjoy drinking. This restaurant in Brandon is no different. They had a reasonable draft selection (2 Rogues, 2 DFH, 2 Shipyard, 2 Lost Coast, Delirium Tremens, Stella, Guinness and a few more) and a decent bottle selection including both 50cl and 75cl bottles. Worth a stop if you are in the area. However, my only complaint was that our server (who was doubling as the bartender) served my draft Delirium in a pint glass and then charged me $8.50 for a pint of Delirium! Not a bad price for 16oz of Delirium, but what made this worse was that they had the appropriate glassware on hand and she didnt ask me if I wanted a pint of it. Overall, good place to visit. Might tell the server what type of glass to use when pouring the beer!“

“Definitely have to come here once in a while to check out what’s on tap. Right now they have Bells Hopslam. A few weeks ago they had the somewhat rare Rogue Hop Heaven. Plenty in bottles, but be sure to ask what they’re out of because the list is fairly out of date. Pizza is awesome of course. Definitely a place to go to for good beer.“

“First off this place has warmer colors and feel than the one in Tampa. The bar area seems a little smaller. But they do have a nice array of draft beer selections and some cool stuff in the bottle. I see bottles of Saint Somewhere’s two offerings, DFH 120 and DFH WWS among several others. I feel the Tampa location has a little better selection and seems to have a more knowledgeable staff. But I’ve only been to this location once. I will likely stop by again when making the long drive out to Kingdom Liquor.“

“Stop serving dark beers in frosted glasses. Other than that, I can’t complain. Not as good as the Tampa location, but still pretty damned good. Had a Rogue Chocolate Stout on draught there, don’t see that every day. Food is the same as the other location, in other words excellent. Friendly service, and a nice bottle selection.“

“Has a pretty good selection but has a couple of fairly glaring, although arguably significant or not, flaws. Their beer menu is not up-to-date. So, you rely on the knowledge/memory of your server to tell you the differences between reality and the menu. I only asked about updates regarding the draught selections and not the bottles, and lost out on an opportunity to try some Terrapin brews, such as Big Hoppy Monster. Secondly, their 16 oz Dunedin Brewing bottles are $6.75 apiece. I would pay that for top 100 brews, but not a flawed 48 percentile beer. Third, I had a sampler of 4 brews ($6 for 4, 4 oz brews) and the 3 I had had before tasted woefully worse than they should have. I asked the server if they had cleared the lines before serving them to me and he said they had, but I don’t think so. He said they clean their lines weekly, but I’m not so sure. The Rogue Juniper tasted nothing like Rogue Juniper. Lost Coast Dunkel Weizen tasted nothing like a Dunel Weizen. Dale’s pale ale was flat and not overly hoppy. Only DFH 90 minute was remotely like I expected it to be. There’s an outdoor patio that gets late afternoon sun, and it’s a place that cares about beer, but has some issues on the execution.“

“Lunch with Matta, about a year ago. The cleanest, most well-lit and friendliest Mushroom I’ve been in. Standard Mellow Mushroom feel otherwise, less noise though. Service was efficient and friendly. Beer selection was decent, but not the least bit interesting. Food is always good in my experiences at these restaurants and was no exception this day.“

“Decent draft selection includes some DFH, Boulder, Shipyard and Rogue. Nothing amazing, but all welcome sights in Brandon. Food is typical of all MM as is the atmosphere which to be honest gets hokey really quick in my book. Still I love what they are doing from a beer standpoint and you know if you go into a MM you can find a good beer to drink and thats comforting.“

“From 8/5 visit: Nice clean feeling restaurant! Pizza was awesome but pricey (approx. $11 for a small 10"). Tap selection (over 20) is about as good as your going to get in Florida. I had the DFH 90 Minute IPA and the Rogue Chocolate Stout. Service was good @ the small bar area. I’ll be back!“

“Brandon. Now this is a great pizza place, and a better beer bar. Very nice selection of taps and bottles. Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA and [!] 90 minute IPA on tap as well. They even had several other IPA’s available. Just right for a hop head like me! One of the best additions was a helpful and knowledgeable server. Mellow has a beer school that they have their servers attend. I think this is Great! Even better, our server asked us is we had heard about another Dogfish Head IPA. I couldn’t believe my ears. they had 120 minute in bottles [rather pricey, but hey NO worse than a bottle of wine] Man i was so glad to get to try that, and never would have thought to ask. Our server said that once a week all the servers try either a new beer, or something different, and discus it. Excellent! They have a great selection of gourmet pizzas and calzones. I had a very tasty calzone. This is a great place, and every time I’m in Brandon, I’m going to spend some time here.“

“Awesome draft selection, 24 to be exact, not a bad bottle lineup some goodies in there, pretty cool 4 beer sampler for $5 which includes expensive one’s like Delirium Tremens. Pizza was kick ass. More like a restaurant in there which surprised me since I’ve never been to a Mellow Mushroom, but the woman loved it and I’ll be back.“
