UPDATED: NOV 21, 2021 Aardige zware blonde triple met 9% alcohol. Van de Schelde brouwerij uit Antwerpen. De single hop special edition geproefd. Beetje grapefruit, droge afdronk.

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2021 Hazy ligh yellow colored and a huge head. Fresh, citrus fruits aroma with a spicy note. The taste has similar flavours with hoppy bitterness and floral notes. A hint of yellow fruits in the back. Quite a peppery and firm finish. A decent strong Belgian style blonde with a contemporary hoppy twist. Nice.

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2021 Bottle from bierhandel Willems. Sabro single hop edition. Hazy golden body with a medium white head. Malt, yeast, tropical fruits, alcohol warmth. Decent.

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2020 Bottle online from Beerhouseshop.be. Pours a murky golden colour with a large throthy creamy white head. Aromas of citrus, floral and peppery spice. Taste has more of the same notes, more floral, citrus zest and peppery spice.Hoppy bitter finish. Light to Medium body, fair carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. I currently have a cold so will have to try this one again some time but it seems good.

UPDATED: JUL 21, 2020 golden beer with a thick firm and lasting head. as in the old fashioned belgian strong pale beers but with more bitterness. Smeel of yeast, some sugar, honey and strong hops. The yeast adds some peach flavors and there are also herbs and spices (not sure but I think Juniper berries and coriander)

Flesje gekregen van de buurman en gedronken met Joep. Amberkleurig bier met matig, stevig wit schuim. Aroma is fruitig. De smaak is zacht, fruitig en hoppig. De nasmaak is iets bitter. Lekker bier voor een zonnige namiddag.

At Cambrinus, Bruges. Shared with Anke. Pours hazy golden/light amber with a big, frothy, off-white head; lacing. Complex aroma of apple, spices, yeast, some caramel, white bread, white sugar, pineapple, hint of spearmint (reminded me of Stimorol). It tastes medium fruity/caramel-like sweet and light to medium spicy bitter; dry, hoppy, spicy finish with warming (jenever) alcohol. Medium to full body, creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Interesting Tripel with lots of character - or is it a Quadrupel?

Fles thuis geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een donkergeel bier met een stevige schuimkraan. De smaak is moutig, gist en kruidig.
