Stone bottle 2 of 15, thanks Kappldav123. Shared @ ZZTX. Deep dark brown color. Malt syrup, licorice and raw alcohol in the burning aroma. Some burning alcohol, burning sourness and intense apple syrup in the flavor. A once in a lifetime experience! A big alcohol burn in the aftertaste. Some extra points for this unique experience, but I was glad I could share the bottle.

Bottle @ ZZT X, small sample, thanks all for sharing! Slight hazy copper color, short head, very viscous. Aroma of paint thinner, caramel, alcohol, slight vinegar. Very alcoholic in taste. Aroma is ok, but taste is horrible.

Bottle @ ZZT X, courtesy of bierkoning. Pours a clear purple brown beer without any head on top. Aroma of tinner, caramel, paint, alcohol. Flavor is incredibly strong alcoholic, obviously. Very strong, almost undrinkable but very interesting to drink. Amazing stuff, but not in a very good way.

Bottle @ ZZTX. Aroma is caramel, liquorice, alcohol, huge malt. Flavour is burning alcohol, malt, liquorice, more malt, more alcohol, repeat.

kermis (18395) - Amsterdam-ish, NETHERLANDS - NOV 15, 2014
Bottle shared at ZZT 10 thanks to Bierkoning. Pours clear amber brown with no head. Aroma of massive sweet malt and crazy sweet overripe dark fruit. Super hot burning alcohol in the palate. Flavour is heavy sweet. Body is impossible to describe in normal ways, just super sweet and burning.

Benzai (20020) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - NOV 15, 2014
Bottle @ ZZT X shared by bierkoning. Dark red brown color, no head. Aroma is incredibly strong, alcoholic. Taste is incredibly incredibly strong, it is undrinkable. Burning alcohol, way way way too much alcohol. There might be some caramel and well, I don’t even care what is in there. Way too strong. Insane and not nice.

Thanks to foofaa for sharing his sample with me and to whoever brought this one to Capone’s.

A - Pours dead flat dark brown with no head and no lace. No surprise here.

S - This is a beer? Could have fooled me. Smells kinda like a fine brandy to me. Hints of caramel, dark fruit, and some cherries but once the booze kicks in it is all over.

T - Starts off with a mix of caramel sweetness, cherries, and dark fruits quickly being enveloped by the insanely hot alcohol burn. Once the booze kicks in you really lose most of the flavors. This is probably the hottest beer I have ever had.

M - Heavy body and flavor with no carbonation. This one feels like I drank some gas and lit my mouth on fire.

O - I am sure this was a pretty good beer at some point in its life but at this level it is just a novelty. If I wanted my beer to taste like a spirit I would just order a spirit and be done with it.
