UPDATED: FEB 16, 2022 From the Bottle at Chris O's Pre-GBBF Shindig 04/08/2012 Fruity aroma. Bronze golden coloured strong in alcohol a little rich on the palate and fruity with a hint of dryness in a full malt finish.

UPDATED: JUL 28, 2019 Brune claire quasi limpide, équilibrée sur notes légères caramel et malt, simple et très accessible. Bouteille 33cl, bue le 03/03/2019.

Kastanjebruin bier met crèmekleurige schuimkraag. Geur: kruidig, nootmuskaat, licht zoet. Smaak: licht zoet, karamel, wat kruidig. Lichte body. Matige koolzuurprikkel.

Dark brown body, small white head. Aroma of caramel, taste burned caramel and light roasted malt. Some bitterness. Tiny finish, slightly bitter. Watery body, medium carbo. Not tasty...

Bottle La Babaute, nice clear dark color, small brown head. Aroma is nice, toffee, coffee, resin. Taste is light sweet, light bitter, light sour. Light to medium texture, flat, typical carbonation. Malty, coffee aftertaste.

Bue en bouteille de 75cl. Couleur ambrée foncée, bière de qualité moyenne. Pas assez de corps, finale qui tombe. Peu d'intérêt.

Bottle, many thanks to my good friend Niels for sharing. Clear dark red-brown color, small beige head. Aroma of malts and caramel. Taste malts, caramel, slightly roasty, leaves. Lightly watery texture, low to average body, medium carbonation.

Clear medium to light amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, oxidide, light roasted. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, vintage - oxidide. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120804]

ChrisOs Marvellous Pre GBBF Mega Tasting. Light haze on this amber beer. Little white head. Light dry palate. Oxidised malt, paper, dry. Trace of fruit underneath. Bleh!

Bottle at Chriso’s 2012 Pre-GBBF Shindig, London. Amber pour with a fine, white foam head and tons of sediment. Caramel malt nose, some cereal. Medium sweet flavor, berries, caramel and toffee. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. OK finish, medium sweetness, more caramel, some brown sugar. Fine.
