Scopey (24234) - Oldmeldrum, SCOTLAND - NOV 17, 2013Bottle, probably a bit past it’s prime, It pours clear amber with a a medium off-white head. The nose is pine, varnish, toffee, grapefruit and orange peel. The taste is bitter-sweet, toffee, earth, pine, orange, grapefruit, light spice and wood polish with a dry, bitter finish, Medium body and moderate carbonation. Quite a bit of sweetness going on, which has probably been enhanced with a bit of age on it. Decent nonetheless.
karstenejby (10) - - NOV 11, 2013En super IPA, der med sin vidunderlige humlebitterhed og liflige duft af grape og hyld, gør en glad i roen.

Pours copper color with a medium-sized head. Aroma of fruits, hops, some vegetables and caramel. Flavor of toffee, vegetable notes, hops, fruits and malts. Something’s not right here.

Hazy dark amber beer. Good white head. Semi crisp and semi dry palate. Piney orange leads to bitter grapefruit. All in a creamy malt base. Finishes with sweet pine, minerals and a trace amount of aniseed. Nice!

Aroma is sweet and fruity with american hops and some caramel. Flavour is sweet with hops, fruits, caramel and some biscuits. Rather typical American IPA and way too sweet for me.
thomat (4444) - Goteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 12, 2011Dark amber with small white head. Malty and fruity notes. Malt, fruit, caramel and hops. Medium to full body with a nice, bitter sweet finish.
Brandman (2974) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 4, 2011Really hard to read notes: Malty IPA, pines, harsh, dark hops, malty caramel hoppy backbone.
Grima (2612) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - OCT 23, 2011Orange-brown color, slightly cloudy with a high, fine head. The smell is mildly hoppy, very citrusy and fruity, storng spicy. Starts with bombastic hop aroma, pleasantly tart, fruity citrus notes in background. The middle part shows hoppy-mild, slightly yeasty and sweet, again very spicy with citrus aromas. Goes into a very dry and bitter finish, coupled with a subtle fruitiness and a slight herbal note!
