Cask at The Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford in 2013. Slightly hazy amber with a scummy white head. Aroma of lemon zest, straw and brown sugar. Some nice fruity flavours upfront, but diminishes to a fairly bland finish.

Cask (handpump) @ NWAF 2012, National Winter Ales Festival, The Venue, Sheridan Suite, Manchester, England.

Clear medium orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, toasted - caramel, earthy, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120119]

Pleasant winter warmer despite being smooth and crisp, and only having subtle fruit flavours.

justm (165) - Essex, ENGLAND - FEB 23, 2012
Cask at the Blue Boar, Billericay. Pours a clear amber, a little on the yellow gold side with a nice light white carbonated head. A slightly watery cracker-biscuit aroma with a touch of straw and lemon. Quite thin and light on the palate, this beer is not big on taste due to it’s watery texture but there is a pleasing light biscuit with a few citrus notes. A hint of lemony citrus is present in the aftertaste too. This beer is not stunning by any means but it is light, refreshing and particularly welcome after a hard days work.

berkshirejohn (9778) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 20, 2012
Cask at the Tilly Shilling (JDW), Farnborough. Amber with a loose cream head; red fruit aroma; soft with a watery red fruit flavour; then some shortlived dry earthy hops; leaving an unexciting dry finish.

sm89walt (2773) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JAN 29, 2012
Cask - The Bell Hotel (JDW), Norwich. Small white to off-white head; clear amber body. Fruity, tangy, yeasty and sweet malty base. Some biscuit on the tongue. Light to medium body, softish mouthfeel, lingering bittersweet malt finish. A bog standard brown bitter with minimal hop presence. Drank fine and without offense.
