Orangée foncée, plutôt limpide et mince, elle possède une carbonatation limitée, et un nez à la fois fruité (raisins) et houblonné. La bouche est assez ronde, encore une fois les malts rappellent le raisin bleu, alors que les houblons, justes pour leur part, sont trop timides, laissant une pointe d’amertume insuffisante et âcre en finale. Une "IPA" dont la recette mériterait d’être révisée et mise à jour.

A light malt aroma. Nothing really interesting about this beer. I wouldn’t look to buy again.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2014 NWAF 25 Jan 13. Gyldenbrun. 0 skum. Grei sviske/plommearoma. Smaken er uidentifiserbar frukt. Litt syrlig og karamellaktig etter hvert.

Cask by handpump, shared half pint at NWAF. Clear dark amber coloured body. Dotted spots to the glass. Earthy malts and a spicy touch to the nose. Taste of marmalade with caramel malts beneath. Slightly roasted bitter ending. Soft in the mouth. Fits the winter season alright (Manchester, 25.01.2013).

Cask at The Rake, London dec 2012. Clear golden beer with a minimal offwhite head. Fruity, hoppy and malty aroma. Fruity flavour with hoppy notes and some bitterness.

Cask at The Rake, London. Clear pale golden beer with a small offwhite head. Fruity grassy aroma, hoppy, grapes, apples, pears, floral notes, some citrus. Hoppy spicy flavor, grassy, herbal, some grapes and pears, citrus, hay, some pepper. A standard bitter.

Clear medium to dark amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120118]

Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Good balanced aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium balanced flavor with a good solid balanced finish of moderate duration. Above average beer for style.

Bottle to snifter. Looks decent; a transparent copper with white lacing. Smells decent too; mildly malty. Tastes good; a nice hop profile with good balance. Mouthfeel is average. Better than I expected!
