Palme (5036) - Bergen, NORWAY - FEB 5, 20180.33l bottle shared with the tasting crew. This is a near clear golden honey colored one with a right off-white head. The aroma is sweet-ish and definitely fruity! Lot's of grape, curaçao, candy. Nice! The mouthfeel is thin and oily with a near flat carbonation level. Soft bitter flavors, grassy, a bit to chalky perhaps. Dry finish. Not my kind of bitter, really. 22.08.2012

OleR (4799) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 26, 20130.33 L bottle. A finger of dense shiny blond head, upon a foggy golden-yellow body. Fresh hop nose. Dusty and grassy with a little citrus fruits to it.
Medium body. Sparkling carbonation. Taste is gently sweet and fruity-hoppy.
Crisp pale malts underneath. Fruity hops linger in the finish. A nice one.

lefossoyeur (615) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 19, 2012Golden copper blonde with a thick bubbly white head fading quickly. Fruity malts dominate the aromas. Light body, strong carbonation with big bubbles, a bit overcarbonated for the style, light minerality, light bitternes, finishing a bit oily. Must have had better days and probably nice when fresh, altough it is just 6 months old, but it feels a bit tired ovet this side of the Atlantic.
essexcalf (171) - Essex, ENGLAND - DEC 7, 2012330ml bottle from Bacchanalia. Bottled in Feb 2012. 5.3%. Clear, pale amber. Pours large, white head, disappearing to few patches. Mid carb. Aroma - Smells like a witbier to me, which is odd, since it apparently has no wheat in it. Spice and wheat-beer yeast. Some dry citrus. Taste - Fairly dry and cereallish. Not much in the way of interesting hop flavours, just simple bitterness. A trace of citrussy hop flavour, but mainly just a sort of cleanly bitter & wheat malt flavour. Some spiciness. Finish is short, slightly bitter and not much to it. Body is light, palate is clean, bit astringent. Unusual, but not that tasty or interesting. At least, it’s kind of refreshing and palate-cleansing.
RuneS (5) - NORWAY - NOV 24, 2012 does not count Citrus and light caramel in aroma. Pours slightly hazy, amber orange. Great, fluffy, white head. Tastes of mandarin, slight pine. Hints of toast and caramel. lacking a bit of body. Good and moderately bitter finish. Nice APA in my opinion, not an ESB.
