From a bomber. Nice dark and toasty in color. The aroma is Roast malt and some chocolate, maybe a bit of coffee. Roasty flavor, warming going down. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Black pour with a medium foamy tan head that recedes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Full-bodied with a roasty coffee and malt character, with some bittersweet chocolate and earthy hops in the background. The finish is roasty with a mocha aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Bottle. Poured black color with an average frothy brown head that mostly lasted with very good lacing. Moderate to heavy roasted chocolate malt, coffee and alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy dark sweet flavor with medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to moderate to long duration. Solid complex beer.

22oz bottle, thanks to tmoney99 for sharing. Black color. thin tan head, leaves some bits of lace. Very nice big coffee here, some moderate roast, dark fruit, raisin, mild lactose creme. Moderate to bigger bitter taste, lighter-plus sweet. Mild bite. Medium to bigger body, lighter carbonation, mild dry in the finish. Solid imperial coffee porter. Very satisfying level of coffee.

Pours pitch black and completely opaque with a two finger dark beige head. Great retention, only slowly fading into a lasting cap/ring. Streaks and chunks of soapy lacing left behind. Roasted malt aroma with hints of dark chocolate, coffee and oatmeal countered by sweeter notes of toffee, light chocolate and caramel. Subtle lactic presence with faint smoke and honey/agave character. Fuller end of medium bodied with earhy hops complimenting the deeply roasted dark malt notes. Gourmet coffee roast with oatmeal and burnt toast flavor adds a nice roasted element but it never becomes acrid or overly dry. Piny, earthy hops detectable as well along with dark chocolate, fudge, baker’s chocolate and other desert like notes. Slightly smokey with lactic creaminess smoothing things out. Well balanced and really easy to drink. Plenty of coffee flavor but is never overly roasted, acrid or one dimensional.

Pours rich, warm sable with a thick and frothy tan head. Aroma fills the nose with quality roast coffee, toasted malt, molasses, and subtle honey and woody notes. I could inhale this all day! Flavor does not disappoint - toasted malt, quality roast coffee, chocolate, oak and honey notes dance across the tongue. Mouthfeel has firm body and fairly good fizz, leaving a finish that has coffee, roast malt and woody tones. Danged near perfect, as far as i am concerned - probably would keep you up all night if not for the alcohol.
