Cloudy blond color with small head. Mild spicy aroma. Good mouthfeel, with light residual sweetness, strong spicy character and a shade of smoke; quite strong bitterness.
Very good.

Trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig, hopfig, rauchig, würzig, hefig. So ist auch der Geschmack.

Bottle @ Yespr. Pours cloudy holden with a lasting small frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, herbs, grain, vegetal, phenolic, fruit and smoke.Taste is moderate sweet and light+ bitter. Body is light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft+. Finishes sweet with smoke and phenols.

Light unclear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, wheat, grain, moderate yeasty, spicy, smoke. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, saison yeast, spicy, smoked. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130831]

(draught) pours a hazy golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of smoked ham and chalk, with a hint of walnuts, some apricot and herbal hops. flavour is mostly the same, heavy honey-smoked ham, pineapple and alcohol, with a hint of herbal hops in the light-bitter finish. medium to heavy-bodied with soft carbonation.

Draught@Freigeist/Monarchy booth, Braukunst Live München, 02/2014. Good dryness, clean, all natural and slightly chalky flavours in place, with a subtle whiff of smoke and candied lemon rind for balance. Finally another non-BE saison that doesn’t taste forced (US) or overly fruit-infused (CH, IT).

Draught at Braukunst Live, pale amber with a fine white head, smoky lemony nose, fruity malty body is dry-sweet.

Bottle at Yespr’s - Thanks. Clear golden - white head. Smokey, citrus, estery, rather high estery, apple, toasted, sweetness, light spicy, zesty notes. Wierd.
