Pours a hazy amber with a nice white head. Quite sour aromas of cherry... makes it fresh. Quite full. Short, sharp bitter fininsh. Tastes a bit like a mix between Belgian strong ale added a twist of lambic.

Papsoe (25039) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2005
(Bottle 75 cl) Pale golden, slightly hazy beer with a tall, pretty and very white head. Dry, malty, spicy and not very bitter with this traditional artisanal, musty touch - typical bière de Garde. 260603

SilkTork (7746) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - JUL 16, 2004
Bottle conditioned. Opened with a bang, but beer remained stable in the bottle. Mostly bland and metallic lagerish beer with soft wheat notes. There are nice flavours and not so nice flavours, but on the whole the negative points dominate.

Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 30, 2004
Light malt aroma, average hops contribution but sort of perfumey, citrus, and ? silly putty. Some musty yeasts, honey, and lactic aroma, too. Cloudy light amber, with a few small chunks, topped by decent foamy off-white lacing head. Light, thin body with soft carbonation. Light-medium sweetness and acidity to start, and light salty finish. Some light bitterness in the after. OK, but not a keeper.

3.3
Bov (14982) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - APR 1, 2004
hazy orange colour, fine creamy head and a beautiful lacing, spicy and citrusy nose, corn notes, tart and very dry, rather light-bodied, acidic, short dry finish - thin, fresh and quite pleasant

fiulijn (28318) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 20, 2004
Hazy light blond color. Smells like some (bad) lagers. Very poor in the front, dry. Very ligth hoppiness at the end.

karsten (240) - odense, DENMARK - MAR 3, 2003
Hazy yellow colour. Aroma: old and fermented. Flavour: Alcoholic bitter, sweetish, fermented, bitter. Light-bodied and imbalanced. Though it has to be said that the beer I had expired november 2002.
