Brewed using American hallertau and spalt select hops. Straw colored, and lightly hopped. Very refreshing and light bodied. This is a wonderful example of this traditional lager style.

I’m currently rating every SN brew I’ve ever had in one clean sweep. I grew up on the classic SN Pale having it around during high school, and since have watched SN grow into a national representation of incredible craft beer. Living 45 mins away is a treat for the random growler fill. Keep up the amazing work and thanks!

Draught@SBWF2011. Small sample. Small pale yellowish golden colour with a small fluffy white head. Aroma is bready malts, some grains, floral and grassy hops. Flavour is quite similar in a nice balanced. Surprisingly good for being only 4.7 %. If only Finnish lagers would be like this...

PhillyCraft (12794) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 31, 2012
Poured a light yellow straw color with thin white head, small lacing if any. Flavors of corn, grassy hops, earthy tones, light pepper, and some spruce. Further notes of oat grains or cereal. Very crisp and easy drinking pilsner. Just not my style, need the higher ibu’s and more dank profile.

Draft. Honey yellow with a pillowy head. Light citrus hop flavors. Grassy. Delicate Chardonay flavors. 40 IBUs but still smooth without being sweet. Very nice.

Tap at Monk's RR/SN Dinner. Pours glowing translucent golden with a thin, sticky-laced white head. Aroma is fresh grassy hops, clean, fresh corn-on-the-cobb, soft hay and a slightly floral, honey-toned note. Medium bodied with a crisp, clean, elegantly bitter palate. Taste is all fresh-cut grass, pilsner hops, and very, very slight hints of light, savory-sweet corn. Finishes with a fairly strong, smooth, clean flourish. Fucking excellent pilsner. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Toronado. Pours a clear pale yellow. Thin white head. Bready aroma and flavor. Lots of cereal. Very dry and bitter. Nice grassy hop finish. Maybe not quite as hoppy as Prima or some other American pilsners but an excellent and enjoyable beer.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a light golden color with a white head. The aroma is grainy with some light noble hops. The flavor has hints of sweet grains mid mash and a nice noble hop bitterness in the finish. Good pils, but it didn’t knock me over as much as the other top contenders of the style.
