Commercial Description:
Malts: German Pils and Carapils
Hops: Amarillo, Saaz, Hersbrucker and Tettnang
We call this beer an Uber Pils - a pilsner style bock lager. Rich, malty, and well rounded but with a firm structure of noble hops. Surprisingly pale in color for such a powerful, complex beer. Available year round beginning Feb. 05.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy light orange with a two finger, rocky, white head that has pretty good retention. No lacing. Aroma is potpourri, curacao, cinnamon, some intense booziness like cinnamon schnapps. Taste starting out is like a bad tripel, lots of mustiness and alcohol. Then moves to some metallic Saaz hops ending finally with some intense wheat, hay, and graininess. Meh.

Dark gold with a lot of carbonation continually floating upward. Light head , but good lace Earthy and malty. No real hop aroma. The flavor matches the nose. This is far more malty than most pilsner. Very rich pilsner that the carbonation balances off nicely.

12 oz bottle: Aroma is a nice grassy hop texture, a bit of alcohol, sweet, a light bready malt, light notes of spice as well, Appearence is a semi-translucent gold with just the slightest hint of amber and a white head that diminishes into a soapy white film. Taste has got a really nice hop texture grassy again, alcohol, and a candy flavor. Palate is medium bodied, rather clingy on the tongue, and a aftertaste of the grassy hops, Overall, Good but not great. I would buy this again. Cheers!

Received a single 12-oz bottle via trade with kmweaver. Pours a semi-hazy golden pale brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin white ring. Aroma of golden grain malt, some light pear, grassy hops, and a hint of citrus. Taste is light to medium bodied, flavors of golden multi-grain with some wheat, light fruit, citrus and yeast. Finish is semi-sweet with a light bitter and metallic texture aftertaste.

12oz - I was a little underwhelmed. No real nose, funk and sweetness if anything. Flavor was not really there, set me off if anything with the woody bock notes. I guess I expected something else.

Light yellow-orange pour with a white head. Aroma is light, mostly pale malts, some hops and a little skunk. Flavor is light and refreshing.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market, Charlottesville, VA. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with very fine particles. Moderate head with good head retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malts with mild noble hops. Taste is caramel, peach, plum and other stone fruits, sugar syrup, apple and leafy hops. Medium bodied,

12oz bottle. Included in a sampler box. Pours a light golden color. Pretty good for the style. Lagers are not my usual drink of choice but this one was pretty drinkable. Slightly sweet with some hops coming through.
