UPDATED: JUL 11, 2021 Third of a pint at the Stumble Inn. Thin creamy light tan head. Clear almost black pour. Easy drinking stout.

UPDATED: APR 25, 2021 Draught at The Wellington, Birmingham. Very dark brown with cream head. There is a metallic, fusty note to this from the off, charred grain notes, reasonably dry but a little thin too. Some damp cardboard hints, some liquorice. Mixed bag but not great really.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2019 Tap (Brewhemia, Edinburgh). Black color. Medium size, beige head, stays. Sourish, roast, cocoa powder in aroma/taste. Drinkable brew.

UPDATED: DEC 14, 2019 Keg (Florence Arms, Portsmouth) (6-:4:6:4:12=3.2-) Metallic aroma from the keggy head. Soft smooth and sweet in the mouth, a bit like a guinness-lite. Gentle roast. Easy drinker. An OK keg stout. Full and smooth.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2019 On tap in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Pitch black with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is roast and licorice. First Impression is licorice and berry, later to be replaced by roast. Good.

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2019 On tap at Henry's (Belfast, Northern Ireland). Opaque black body with a lasting, beige creamy head. Decent malty aroma with roasty hints. Its good malty taste carries roasty and chocolate notes. Ends with a decent malty/roasty finish.

Cask. Almost black color, creamy foam. Aroma: burnt barley, Irish whiskey, caramel, a little coffee, toast and a little fruit. Taste: soft, creamy, roasted, caramel, a bit fruity, not bad.

keg. black with lasting nitro head. no aroma really. taste is roasty, burnt & hint of dark fruit sweetness. not great for a "craft" stout!

UPDATED: DEC 18, 2019 Keg at the Seven Stars, Brighton. Black pour with a beige head. Lots of smoke in the aroma, chocolate, coffee. Same sort of flavours. Above average guinness feel. Ok.
