Caulier version. Orangey amber, thick head, fruity, caramel and nutty malts, yeasty, sweet with grassy hops and spicy notes in the finish.

Bottled@The 1st Vaasa CS/ES beer session (thanks WK! no BBE date noted on bottle, but probably old accoring to Wim). Deep amber colour with huge fluffyY/foamy slightly off white head, that leaves nice lace. Aroma is some wooden notes, mild toffee, alcohol as well as some berries. Flavour is quite similar, but much more mellow than the aroma would promise. Mild yeasty and earthy notes as well. A quite pleasantly balanced beer.

yngwie (22243) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 23, 2008
Bottle. A quite clear, golden beer with an enourmous off-white head. Sweetish, caramel-like aroma with a good fruityness, and the flavor is much the same, sweet, malty and fruity. Medium body, very effervescent. A nice beer that still feels a bit ordinary. Not sure if it deserves the rating I gave it, but at the moment I was drinking it, it was right. Afterwards, it felt a bit high though. (080411)

Jerre (6104) - Gullegem, BELGIUM - MAY 6, 2007
Bottle, 33 cl. Tasted end march ’07 @ Pado BBF end 04. This beer was a bit old but drinkable. Amber color; white head. Aroma, good and strong, malty, old hops, dry. Taste is interesting, yeasts, dry feeling. Medium Body. Why this brewer don’t make this beer anymore ?

Bottle at Kulminator, Antwerpen. Hazy amber with a huge, lacing head. A lot of carbonation. Spicy malts aroma with hints of pears. Flavours are more complex with spicy gingerbread and toffee. Dry mouthfeel. Light to medium body. A great amber.

Pours a hazy orange with an off-white head. Rather boring Belgian ale. Has gor the right yeasty flavor, but is too watery. Lacks in body too.

Dixen (1464) - Flagstaff, Arizona, USA - AUG 9, 2005
Malty nose, with notes of hops. Hazy orange brew, with a medium white head. Yeasty flavor, with a sourish edge.

sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 31, 2005
(Bottled, BBE 2005) Hazy amber-copper color with a huge, foamy and lacy head. A quite neutral, slightly barley-wineous, toffeeish aroma of berries and candy, some perfume. Toffee-malty, slightly sweet berry flavor with some paperiness and aromatic hops. ABV is very well hidden, despite the barley-wineous feel. Very high and foamy-carbonated, medium-bodied palate. A very decent strong ale with at least some character.

3.3
joergen (41440) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2005
Bottled. Hazy amber colourd with an off white head. Aroma of fruits with notes of malts Fruity flaovur with spicy notes and a nice bitter finish.
