330ml bottle, gift from my belgian father-in-law as part of a hamper he didn’t want. Now I can see why. Pours clear gold with an ernest white head. Aroma is lightly sweet rum. Taste is thankfully less rum than expected, blending well into a standard sugary sweet blonde base. But sadly, it doesn’t hit the mark for me, getting more syrupy sweet towards the end.

Bottle @ home. Pours a clear golden liquid with a large, frothy and lasting white head. Dry, somewhat spicy aroma with vanilla, red fruits, corn and cereal, hay, grassy earth. Unexpectedly sweet taste with corn, pine apple, table sugar, rum, pears and a drier vanilla sugar infused finish with alcohol and cardboard notes. Quite odd with an unpleasant but interesting cereal character.

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A golden pale sparkling yellow beer with a big white foamy head ; good retention ; bubbly. Cereal, herb, light roast, vanilla. Medium to heavy sweet, sugary, dry bitter note, warming background. Medium body, thin texture, average to soft carbonation, sweet finish, light herbal and light warming. Overall, average, too sweet, light taste ; nevertheless, drinkable.

0,33l Flasche. Etwas alkoholisch. Leicht bitter im Abgang.

I rather enjoyed this Blonde beer mainly because I think the combination with Columbian rum gives it a distinctive character. There is a blend of sweetness between the two flavors which really got me hooked.
