UPDATED: APR 4, 2023 Die auffällige und sympathische Etikettierung animierte mich natürlich zum Kauf. Farblich finde ich hier ein unwesentlich getrübtes Zitronengelb vor, die cremige Schaumkrone zeigt sich halbwegs stabil. Das Kitzmann Kellerbier duftet hefig, dezent malzig und fruchtig nach Zitrone sowie grünem Apfel. Es folgt der spritzige Antrunk mit mildmalziger Betonung. Das Brauwasser wirkt besonders weich, was neben der sparsamen Kohlensäure die Lauffähigkeit logischerweise begünstigt. Im Körper klingt der Hopfen mit seinen feinsauren Fruchtnoten (Zitrone und Orange) an, gut abgestimmt mit der frischen Hefe. Mit minimaler Honigsüße, dezenter Säure und milder, passender Hopfenherbe geht es in den ausgewogenen Abgang. Ein eher unauffälliges Kellerbier der sehr milden Art.

Tap at the brewpub, served in a Steinkrug with Salzglasur. The head looks beautiful, and the color presumably hazy golden. Aroma is a bit sulphuric, earthy, grassy hopspice and a touch butter and juicy malts. Taste is grainy, with a herbal grassy hopspice and a decent amount of juicy malts with a surprising amount of sweetness, peanuts as well. Soft silky mouthfeel with natural carbonation. A pleasant, rather rustic Kellerbier which is a tiny bit too earthy-grainy and sweet at the same time.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma is grainy, grassy and floral with faint honey note. Cloudy pale golden color with medium creamy white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet grainy and lightly toasted, follows by honey and grass, mouthfeel is crisp, while finish is medium bitter. Light body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Easily forgettable...

Bottle - 330ml. Hazy blond body with a thin, lasting, white frothy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with honeyish, flowery, and herbal hints. Its simple, well balanced malty/hoppy taste carries flowery, herbal, and yeasty notes. Ends with a good herbal/flowery finish. Enjoyable.

Bouteille. Couleur or, mousse blanche. Arôme plaisant de pains frais et houblon. En bouche, malt croustillant, houblons floraux, léger sucre bien balancé. Bel équilibre, beau mouthfeel. Un succès de cette caisse de l'avant.
