coasternut (1919) - VANCOUVER, Washington, USA - MAR 10, 2023
UPDATED: MAR 10, 2023 Another beer that I've had a number of years back at the Brewery in NW Portland. Another good solid beer from Pyramid Brewery. I used to drink a lot of Pyramid beers when I first started drinking craft beers. Now I keep trying to find new ones to try.

Jerseyislandbeer (4857) - JERSEY - MAY 11, 2021
UPDATED: MAY 11, 2021 Old rating from 2002 - Pint at the brewhouse in Seattle. Pours hazy amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of banana, clove, lemon, caramel, herbs, toffee, bread, hints of spice & yeast. Medium body. Slight dry mild bitter finish

jhsnitz1 (1619) - Pendleton, South Carolina, USA - FEB 18, 2021
UPDATED: FEB 18, 2021 Cloudy amber color. Slight funky aroma. It’s missing the typical banana bread on the nose. Creamy texture with little of the typical Hefeweizen sweetness, more of a funky yeast flavor.

UPDATED: FEB 28, 2020 Keg at Pyramid Brewhouse, Sacramento, CA on 28/03/2008. Nice, fairly refreshing hefeweizen (pass on the lemon slice, thank you). A slight citrussy hint prevails.

mbos4115 (195) - - FEB 9, 2020
UPDATED: FEB 9, 2020 Color: lose aggressive fizzy foam, dark hazy brown color. Nose: bold, caramel, herbs, toffee, rum like, vanilla, some residue Taste: full bodied, cream, toffee, hint of plum like old Bordeaux wine, slight wheat, Interesting beer, maybe not for everyone, but for me it is a nice twist.

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2019 330ml Flasche. Orangefarben mit Trübung und minimaler Schaumkrone. Leicht hefig, leichter Körper, wenig Aroma. Spritzig mit mildem Abgang. Als Erfrischung okay, sonst eher schwach.

Bomber from Albertsons. I am so glad that this is listed as a wheat ale. I would have given it horrible scores as a weizen. Orange golden pour, small fizzy head fades to flat in an instant. Not much to the aroma, light grainy notes, minuscule amounts of citrus and yeast. Taste yields some white bread flavors ( now that's exciting, isn't it?). Wow. That's it. A few points for a nice feel, but pretty underwhelming overall.

UPDATED: JUN 11, 2018 Had this efervescent beer in a bottle format. Not a very strong taste for a wheat beer, but it was very bubbly.

Simple wheat beer with yeasty notes and a little spice. More American than German.
