COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In 1995, we crafted our first autumn seasonal—Pumpkin Ale. At the time, Oktoberfest beers were in high demand. For our version, we wanted to create a beer that was a little different than what was already out there and complemented the season by highlighting the flavors we’ve all grown to love during this time. It was so popular that it became the first nationally available pumpkin ale. Harvest Pumpkin Wheat, as it’s called now, is crafted with pumpkin and spices of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice for a taste you’ll want to fall right into.

A slightly below average ber, but somethign decent to try. A friends dad loves this stuff. I haven’t aquired the pumkin ale taste quit yet, but its something that interestes me in the fall. It has a nice colour of redish amber and a decent head. The pumpkin comes out in the aroma, but not as much in the taste. Its a little sweet, with some spice noticed as well.

330ml bottle served in a pint glass. Pours a clear copper amber color that forms a medium to small thin bubbled creamy light yellow head. Medium retention with only very few spotty lacings formed and left in the glass. Sweet and spicy nose. Strong notes of toffee, caramel, pumpkin pie, cinnamon, honey, chestnut, vanilla and caramel malts. Toffee caramel candy. Sweet upfront taste too. Strong notes of toffee, caramel, pumpkin pie, cinnamon, honey, vanilla, chestnut, caramel malts, roasted malts and flowery hops. Too sweet. Not bitter enough. Medium creamy and smooth body. Medium carbonation. Toffee, pumpkin pie and cinnamon in the afteraste. Medium drinkability. Too sweet and not enough bitter.
