TET	4 Kuhnhenn BIG Berhta Almost black beer and without head. Aroma has caramel maltyness, wood, herbs, liquorice. Taste has caramel, raisin, wood. Full bodied. Strenght is there. Maybe too simple and could be more complex. Anyway, very good beer, of course. Saturday, April 13, 2024

Aroma has dried fruitness, prune, light caramel, also ripe banana, hint of barrel. Taste has dried fruitness of prune, caramel, some herbal bitterness. Almost full bodied. Fin	3.8 Kuhnhenn BIG Berhta - Bourbon Barrel Aged Chocolate Caramel Love Bottle picked up from Beer Republic webshop Breda Netherlands (I think) and consumed at dad and Paulines Monday 1st April 2024 listening to a random selection of tunes. Pours dark brown with a fast disappearing head, agree with Loz and dad this has a really beefy nose, but there is also bourbon. Thick in the mouth, boozy but some chocolate combines, quite zappy but really heavy, good. Monday, April 1, 2024

drpimento	3.1 Kuhnhenn BIG Berhta - Bourbon Barrel Aged Chocolate Caramel Love Aromas are rich traditional barley wine with lots of yeast and malt, don't pick up much chocolate or caramel, maybe hint of oak. Kita	3.8 Kuhnhenn DRIPA Double Rice India Pale Ale Can, 0.355l. Aroma of citrus, stone fruit, melon and biscuit. Pours clear golden color with thin creamy white head, good lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with sweet caramel, dried fruit and resin, following is bready, herbal and slightly medicinal, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic, while finish is pretty bitter. Ibrew2or3	4.1 Kuhnhenn BIG Berhta - Bourbon Barrel Aged Chocolate Caramel Love Green foil capped 12oz bottle was a literal mess. Opening it there was no fluid motion and nothing came out. With time it glugged and sputtered and I was able to retrieve some liquid from it. It pours with a chocolate milkshake looking body with a milkshake head. The aroma offers up boozy chocolate leading to chocolate fudge. The taste comes across very much sludgy and chocolate milkshake like. It's like drinking a frothy boozy chocolate mousse. Very strange as it's literally thick milkshake consistency. More sips keep revealing the same flavours of chocolate, velvety fudge and a wide swath of booziness. Interesting sipper. Ibrew2or3	4.5 Kuhnhenn BIG Berhta 12oz bottle pours with a nice deep dark mahogany to black colored body that supports really no head at all. The aroma offers up inviting clouds of molasses, brown sugar stewed plums and dates and then a hit of chocolate malts blended with caramel. Yes. The taste delivers smooth slick sweet supple molasses and faint caramel bleeding quickly into sweet dark fruity esters. I get molasses and brown sugar dusted plums and dates. To midway a pleasing caramel note surfaces just as the modest booziness sets in with hints of smokiness and lightly roasted maltiness lingering into the after taste. Geez. The nose was malt, toast, slight cocoa, caramel sweetness, dark/dried fruit, and ready alcohol. Fin	3.9 Kuhnhenn Imperial Crème Brûlée Java Stout Can picked up from Beer Republic webshop Breda Netherlands and consumed sat in Frank near Re(h)serviert Wirsthaus (stealth camping as camping is strictly forbidden here) at Oberfrauenau, Bayerisch Wald Thursday 11th January 2024. Pours black with little or no head. Wow so much coffee, nice steady roasty bitterness with no cloying sweetness, very good particularly for being a straight down the road coffee impy stout. I'm not picking up too much crème brûlee but frankly I don't care I finished off with a crème brûlee in the restaurant earlier. Btw this is a lovely no messing coffee stout. Friday, January 12, 2024
