Slightly sour & salty nose with floral notes, a little cereal & subtle hops but mellow for the style. It's a similar taste, subtly salty with some lemon & a moderate sourness that is more floral than the nose then some light tart flavours to close - easily the best gose I can remember trying. Kaum süß. Mild rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang gut mokkabitter und nur dezent dezent hopfenherb. - Intensiv, etwas einseitig röstmalziges, dennoch weiches Schwarzbier, nicht so dünn wie die meisten. Flavor isn't so bitter as a pils, a bit mineral, I'd call it a slightly more hoppy sweet Helles before a pils. Moderate earthy bitterness at the end. Friday, February 3, 2023

Aroma is sour wood, some tart brettanomyces and mild floral tones. Flavour is rather dry bretty sourness with mild floral and earthy tones too. Smooth, and very refreshing brew. Schlenkerla29	3.7 UT Pils Das UT Connewitz ist das älteste noch erhaltene Lichtspieltheater Leipzigs und eines der ältesten Deutschlands, seit 110 Jahren am Start. Ein Teil des Erlöses dieses Biers geht an das in finanzielle Schieflache geratene Kino. Goldgelb, fein getrübt und mit pilstypisch üppiger Schaumkrone steht das UT Pils vom Bayerischen Bahnhof ausgesprochen einladend im Glas. Auch der Duft lässt auf ein Pils schließen, in welchem einer herben zitronenschaligen Hopfung die dominierende Rolle zuteil wird. Der kaum rezente Antrunk geht schlank und durch die Hefe auch recht weich über die Bühne. Er erweist sich nicht als knackig, aber wunderbar rund grasig-zitronig hopfenherb. Das pilstypisch schlanke Malz, welches kaum Süße erzeugt, spielt geschmacklich ganz klar die zweite Geige und wird vom zunehmend an Zitronenöl erinnernden Hopfen in Schach gehalten. Die milde Rezenz wie auch die schöne Hefigkeit gewähren ein Höchstmaß an Süffigkeit. Den Abgang bestimmt eine feine grasige, nicht überzogene Herbe, die eines schlanken, runden und angenehm weichen Pilseners würdig ist. Großartig! Sunday, January 22, 2023

Aroma is salty, fruity, some earthy and mild herbal tones with some wooden tartness. Flavour is sweetish berries, some tart wood, mild salty tones as well as some slight wood. Quite a good oomph from the alcohol too in the finish, although alcohol not being that evident in aroma or flavour otherwise. Monday, January 16, 2023

ozzatoadisback	3.2 Bayerischer Bahnhof Berliner Style Weisse Pours very pale yellow with lost of bubbling, almost perfectly transparent. Average size, large bubbled white head, decent retention and a bit of lacing. Quite subdued, simple aroma: slightest cereal malts base, slightest dough-like feel, a hint of tartness with dominant lemonish freshness and a bit of yogurt-like feel. Taste is both a little brighter and a bit more complex. Malty base as per aroma, half citric half lactic tartness (definitely moderate, especially for the style), with notes of lemon and yogurt, a light spicy hint to give a bit more life. Very simple, clean and refreshing, though not very interesting. In terms of balance, the beer is more sweet than sour, but never too sweet, due to a very clean mouthfeel and a dry enough finish. Very light bodied as obvious, with average carbonation bringing a bit of life to a super easy/drinkable feel. Overall: a mildly sour and highly refreshing take on the style; well made at that, but not very interesting. Friday, July 8, 2022

Aroma of malt and citrus, lemon, wheat, biscuit and spiced. Taste is lightly sour and refreshing with good citrus, lemon, grapefruit and orange notes, quite mineral and salty, really drinkable, bit tart with a slight hop not in the finish, but mostly tart and sweet. A bit thin and short finish. Light at 4.5% abv. Light body, watery texture and medium carbonation. Not too complex but really refreshing and balanced. Tuesday, February 22, 2022
