Pump Room Porter
On tap at The Pump Room, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and a small tan head. Aroma brings out dry, earthy, toasted malt, with some dusty cocoa. Flavour is substantially different, with somewhat tart red fruits and light toasted malt. Competently brewed, on the fruitier side for a porter. Decent.

Pump Room Porter
Tap at the brewpub. Poured a hazy dark brown colour with a thin broken light tan head. The aroma is roasty caramel malt, charcoal, dry hop. The flavour is light sweet, liqouirce, with a watery, sweet dry roasty, light smoke, charcoal, liqouirce palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Too light for a porter. Very light and watery with no defining flavours. A little too sweet too.

Tap at the brewpub. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, big dry woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth light, watery malt, light dry pepper spice, woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Too malty for a an EPA and needs more carbonation too. Even the English like a few bubbles with their warm beer!

Pump Room Scottish Ale
(On tap) Clear deep ruby with thin white head. Subtle aroma of toffee. Medium body with gentle carbonation. Taste starts with gentle fruitiness - prunes and apples - and quickly develops a rich toffee taste which evolves into burnt toffee. Pleasant enough but not special. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pump Room Brewmaster Cherry Ale
Sampled at the draft room in Clarke Quay. Best of the flight, but still nothing amazing. Surprisingly pleasant soft tart cherry Aroma was quite nice. And the flavor of the dark rich cherry follows nicely, but after the initial sip, it falls flat. No other real flavor notes. Just cherry juice. Very thin bodied. Honestly, if this had any amount sour/acidic tartness, and just a touch more complexity, I would have considered this to be a wonderful sour ale. But as it is, it’s just an average brew with some cherry juice added.
