Deschutes has finally hit the Missouri side. Mirror Pond, Black Butte Porter and a limited amount of Black Butte XXIII. |
No luck at lunch today for BB XXIII at Royal or HyVee. |
I saw Hirter Morchl and Private Pils for the first time (in bottles) at Tipsy’s, in Mission, earlier this week. I had a liter of the dunkel, on tap, last week. It’s one of the best I’ve ever sampled. (I haven’t tried the pilsner.) |
that is a good Dunkel |
I love a good Dunkel and the description sounds great: Unter Beigabe von dunklem Braumalz, Hopfen und Caramelmalz gebraute unvergleichliche Bierspezialität der Privatbrauerei Hirt. Malzbetoner, trockener Antrunk und schlanker, zartbitterer Abgang. Hirter Morchl ist ein völlig naturbelassen gebrautes und durch lange Lagerzeit gereiftes Bier. Kein Zuckerzusatz! Nicht pasteuriziert! |
Thomas from Berbiglia just posted on KC Beer Blog that their 103rd St. store has BB XXIII. |
Irish Ale is here, just in time for winter! |
I just wanted to give you guys a heads up on King Henry. Crawford has 5 cases in their warehouse. I tried to order some and they won’t send it. It looks like it will be going to some bars. I’m assuming Barleys might get a case or two. We’ll see. |
Missouri side has the new Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye IPA and Southern Tier 2X Stout Double Milk Stout. |
some dubious looking stuff showed up in Lawrence. I was correct in being cautions when I saw the place of production. |
Looks like Abyss, Stoic and HopHenge are on the Missouri side. |
