thanatosti	3.1 Brand NEIPA 33 cl. can @ home, bought @ Albert Heijn, Culemborg. Very light hazy golden with a white head. Citrus aroma with some passion fruit and pineapple. Sweet taste with a medium bitter finish. As said before, it's not a NEIPA whatsoever but it is a tasty beer nonetheless. Just more of a pale ale than anything else. Friday, March 29, 2024

DijkBier	2.7 Brand NEIPA Can from supermarket. Almost clear (!) golden pour with generous white head; decent retention. Aroma is a bit malty (!) and faint fruity. Taste same: soft hoppy/fruity, but also pale malty; mild bitter. Soft carbo. Sorry, but this is not a NEIPA to me, more a soft hoppy blonde; it lacks hazyness, and more important, it lacks tropical fruits. It's not a bad brew, but has simply not the characters of a NEIPA. (Maybe I'm spoiled by great senses of more modern NEIPAs that are loaded with tropical fruity hops...). Sunday, March 24, 2024
MartinBeer	2 Brand NEIPA Licht strogeel van kleur; zeer lichte haze. Nauwelijks schuim. Weinig CO2. Lichte geur. Banaan/appel. Dunnetjes van smaak. Afwezigheid van mout. Redelijk hoppig, maar had meer en complexer verwacht. Niets bijzonders Pale straw yellow in colour; very light haze. Hardly any foam. Little CO2. Light scent. Banana/apple. Thin flavor. EvNa	2.5 Brand Oud Bruin Bottle from local AH XL supermarket. It's a long time ago that I've had my last bottle of this typical Dutch style Oud Bruin. Nice to taste one of these again, because they are less common than 30 years ago. Although I never really liked the taste of it... Color: Very dark ruby, beige head. Aroma: Some hop, dark malt, caramel. Taste: Sweet, malty, malt-sirup, a lot of caramel, bit sugary. Medium sweet, light hopbitterness in the background. Just over medium body, just below average carbonation. Low alcohol, high energy beer with mediocre taste. Thursday, March 21, 2024

ReuvenSmienk	2.9 Brand Pilsener Helder geelkleurig bier met een vingerdikke witte schuimkraag van gemiddelde structuur waar een randje van blijft staan. Ik ruik zowel een subtiele zoete moutgeur als de aromahop. Zit ook wat metaligs in. In de smaak proef ik een mooie balans tussen de mout en de hop waarbij duidelijk meer hop is gebruikt dan bij een ‘standaard’ pilsener. Friday, September 29, 2023

Kleg	3.6 Brand Pilsener 330 ml can from a grocery store in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Pours a crystal clear yellow-gold color with a white head and great retention. Decent lacing. No aroma at all. Straightforward sweet pale lager flavor with only a hint of pilsner malt in the finish and no sulfur notes. Very clean and smooth. Nothing remarkable yet very enjoyable. Medium-light body. Thorsten74	3 Brand Sylvester / Winterbock Der Brand Winterbock ist wohl identisch mit dem Brand Sylvester. Ein Doppelbock mit 7,5%. Im Glas zeigt es sich honigfarben mit Fingerdicker Blume. Es riecht dezent fruchtig nach Banane. Der Antrunk ist mild, malzig und kräftig. Zur Mitte hin kommen feine Röstaromen und eine leichte Süße, die mich an Honig erinnert, dazu. Im Abgang ist der Hopfen sehr präsent und verleiht dem Doppelbock eine ordentliche herbe. Mir gefällt der Winterbock nicht ganz so gut, deshalb nur 6 Kronkorken Monday, May 1, 2023

Gebinde ist eine schöne braune 0,3l Reliefflasche, der Flaschenhals wird umrundet von einem braun-weißen Etikett mit weißer Schrift. Es riecht süßlich, leicht schokoladig. Der Antrunk ist mild malzig voluminös. Im 2. Drittel schmeckt es süßlich nach Karamell und Schokolade aber auch etwas nach Backpflaume. Eine dezente Alkoholnote ist, im langen Abgang, wahrzunehmen.
