Scopey	3.3 Kirkby Lonsdale Devil’s Bridge IPA Can from The Justice Mill, Aberdeen. It pours clear golden - amber with a. Sturdy, fluffy white head. The aroma is fairly pungent, grapefruit blast, bitter orange, sappy, oily, pine, digestive biscuit and a hint of toffee. The taste is firmly dry, crisp, really rather bitter (akin to earlier, happier pre-hazy IPA days), bitterness lingers throughout, pithy, zesty, fragrant, floral, waxy peel, grapefruit, bitter orange, pomelo, slightly soapy and has some biscuit on the malt base with a zesty/soapy bitter finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Certainly assertive. Old school bitterness. Perhaps a bit homebrewesque, but a welcome change from today's norm. Wednesday, June 7, 2023

Malts again in the mouth, along with a fair dollop of traditional hops, marmalade and traces of nuts and autumn fruits. Finish is quite bitter. Not bad at all – if a little bland.
