Seriously medicinal. Ugly wax, fresh juice, menthol-laced herbage, earthy weak bitterness, simple syrup finish. The ugly fades some once it settles in. johnnnniee	3.6 Sap House Meadery Good Vibrations Bottle from the source Brilliantly clear deep golden color light legs. Sweet honey nose light fruit strong alcohol. Flavor is semi to sweet non descript honey and faint earth with a brandy jam up front that quickly fades to warming alcohol that lingers long after each sip. This is a sipper to be sure! I've never had mead made with Lehua honey before but the alcohol in this one overpowers it to the point that I can't pick out it's nuances. Flavour is quite boozy and abrasive, with every percentage point of alcohol showing and then some. There is some bourbon and sweet wildflower honey showing under there, but this is quite chaotic.
