Svesse	3.3 Gadds HPA (Hoppy Pale Ale) (Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 13 Jan 2024) Pale golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grass and biscuits. Malty, fruity taste with notes of citrus, grass, bread, a touch of resin and a balanced floral/grassy bitterness in the finish. Light body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing. Nice one. Theydon_Bois	3.5 Gadds She Sells New Hops FK09 Gravity Cask at Gadds Ramsgate, Thanet Easter Brewery Tour Beer Festival '24, 30/03/24. Golden blonde with a just off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is grass, melon, hint of stoned fruits, tangerine. Taste comprises lychee, melon, grass, papaya, light tropical fruits, straw, light breads. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow juicy hop bitterness. Another tidy cask pale but the FJ27 just edged for me in these two experimental hops. Clear golden blonde with a decent enough white cap formed of bubbles. Nose is tangerine, straw, melon, light floral notes, grass, papaya. Taste comprises orange peel, cantaloupe melon, papaya, perfume, soft malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with balanced light juicy hop bitterness. Tidy cask pale. Taste comprises cacao nibs, charr, roasted bite, spice, bitter chocolate, vanilla. Medium bodied with bite, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Martinsh	3.7 Gadds Black Pearl Oyster Stout Can from Beer 52 – drank at home. Pours almost black with a small foamy beige head. Aroma has roasted malts and some chocolate. In the mouth it starts off sweet with a creamy texture, but some underlying bitterness. Flavour has chocolate (bitter) and dark fruits (sweet). Some hints of vanilla, herbs and spices come through later. Finish is somewhat dry and a bit sticky – the alcohol comes through at last as well. This is oretty good – hides it’s strength well. imdownthepub	3.4 Gadds Dark Conspiracy Bottled, 500ml found helping in a house clearance. Very dark brown with cream head. Nice find along with a few other bottles so we decided a rest was in order. Quite a creamy porter, smooth with notes of sweet plum and caramel. Fruitiness lingers throughout with a hedgerow berry note. Nice beer. Friday, August 4, 2023

BlackHaddock	3.7 Gadds Black Pearl Oyster Stout 330ml can from Beer52: BB 26th June 2024. Poured into an old Gordons thistle shaped glass at home on 28th June 2023. Black body, tanned foaming head, looked good and 'wholesome'. Roasted malty front, some smoothness in the body depth, cocoa, hints of coffee, chocolate, dark fruits and a light spicy twist. Aroma of dark malt, blackberries, cocoa, hint of liquorice but more veers towards leafy and spicy at times. Taste has a dry roastiness but then you get dark fruits, creamy sweet toffees, ash and leafy hop. Medium bodied, somewhere between creamy an sticky on the palate. Very nice. In the mouth it starts off sweet but with some underlying bitterness, and grains to flavour. But after a while sticky citrus comes through and totally dominates the yucky finish. Not for me.
