ccex	3 Two Brothers Love of Hops 12 oz. can from my local Walmart pours a cloudy light golden with lots of "floaties" under a large creamy white head. Aroma has pineapple, cookies, wheat, and citrus. Taste starts out sweet but then turns acidic and bitter. Body is light to medium with lots of carbonation. Nothing horrible here, but nothing memorably good either. Friday, November 18, 2022
ccex	3.6 Two Brothers Premium Lager 12 oz. can from variety pack at my local Walmart pours a clear golden with average white head. Aroma has slightly grainy malts and perhaps some light fruits. Taste is slightly sweet without any hint of corn, metal, butter or chemicals. Body is light but not watery with perfect carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. This is an easy drinking lager that does absolutely nothing wrong. I'm glad there are two more in that variety pack. Friday, November 18, 2022

tmoreau	3.3 Two Brothers Cellar Club 04 of Year 2 - Holiday Spiced Barleywine Shared, cellared 750 ml. bottle poured to a small snifter, showing a hazed, light orangey/gold color, with a fair layer of soft white froth, and spots & strands of lacing. The nose was evergreen, ripe fruit, and holiday spices as allspice, cinnamon & ginger, with no toffee to speak of. Medium bodied, with fair carbonation, the taste was similar notes, with some booze, highlighted cinnamon, and maybe a hint of toffee sweetness. Not wowed, but okay. Sunday, October 16, 2022

Taste has sweet apple & banana over caramelly, brioche-like, bit nutty maltiness with a yeasty note. Herbal hoppy finish, ripe fruit, caramel and soft liqueur-like alcohol. Taste is also a mix of blackberry notes with some roasted malt and tart/oak notes with no acidity. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable dark sour with enough complexity. The nose was malty, with dried pit fruit, citrus, light sweetness, and a touch of pine. Medium bodied, the taste was as the aroma notes, with good carbonation, a bit of malty creaminess to the mouthfeel, appropriate alcohol presence, and moderate citrus, rind, and slightly resinous bitterness. Scipio	3.7 Two Brothers Peppermint Bark Porter Pours a very deep brown, almost black, with a medium beige head. Peppermint dominates the aroma, although there is added roasted malt, chocolate, and vanilla. This is sweet when sipping, though its moderate. Peppermint is the primary flavor, with the roasted and chocolate impressions being secondary. Licorice and oak are very minor. Peppermint represents a long aftertaste. Medium to full in body and with a kind of oily texture. I didn't have very high hopes for this one. However, the peppermint agrees with me here. I enjoyed this. Friday, November 19, 2021

George999	3.1 Two Brothers Ebels Weiss Beer Aroma: Aroma is initially strong cloves, settles to a light hoppy body with notes of crisp apples and a faint aroma of yeast. There is a light floral aroma and light malt sweetness. Appearance: Crystal clear body with a golden yellow color. Head pours bright and bubbly then quickly dissipates to a thin white head hugging the edge of the glass with a consistency of medium to small bubbles Flavor: Bright initial flavor (citrus) with a malt sweetness quickly following, leaving a semi-sweet malt finish lingering on the back of the tongue. There is a bright almost tart brightness leading the flavor profile, this is quickly followed by the malts. Hops are balanced with the sweetness and the tartness crisping the beer making this a refreshing beer. Balance is more tart. Mouthfeel: High carbonation, medium body with medium alcohol warmth. The beer is not astringent nor creamy, but there is a lingering residual sugar from the malts that remains on the tongue. Overall: A refreshingly bright and crisp beer that has a nice wheat/malt body with a good balance of malt sweetness to hops making this a very enjoyable drink. Saturday, November 6, 2021

Medium bodied, with good carbonation, the beer finished with a bitterness that was citrusy, resinous, and somewhat rind-like. Not bad. About a year old. Can't say much about the can art! ccex	3.5 Two Brothers Amplifier I'm surprised to be the first here to review the new year-round IPA from Two Brothers. I found this at my local Jewel supermarket. 12 oz can pours a clear golden orange with moderate white head that lasts and leaves clumps of lacing. Aroma is all citrus with a hint of pine resin. Flavor is quite fruity until some bitterness comes out in the finish, but not as much as the can lead me to expect (It says they turned the hop volume up to 11 - I'd call it about 5). Body is medium without much carbonation and with a slightly sticky mouthfeel. This is a pleasant enough IPA which is almost sessionable - not at all loud or off the scale. Friday, May 7, 2021
