2.8 Marston's Old Empire (Bottle) Gold with a frothy head of modest duration. Aroma a mix of grains, dough and peppercorn. Taste is bitter throughout. Medium-bodied, very dry, with a touch of spice at the end. Ok, and traditional too, but the pervading dry bitterness keeps it from ever feeling refreshing. Thursday, March 21, 2024

Friday, June 30, 2023
