alexsdad06	3.4 Mt. Carmel Brett's Dry-Hopped Mail Pilsner I had this beer within the past couple months with Tmoney or out and about. Most of my notes were on this app on my old phone. I recently upgraded my phone and although the app transfered, the data didn't. I am going back and recreating everything I've lost using multiple sources. Many of the beers were one offs that although very good to great, I am unlikely to pursue again, or were ticks and also something that I wouldn't revisit. If I have another bottle or can sample the beer again I will update detailed information when I have time, but for now the score will reflect what I thought but each beer. Pours a cloudy gold on the pale end of the spectrum with a small white head that settles into a thin film and bubbly uneven ring, leaving some lace in the glass. Not much in the way of aromatics here, even after warming for a while. Notes of orange, florals, doughy malts, wheat, grass, oils, subtle sugary sweetness, and straw. Medium-bodied, with modest carbonation and a malty, bitter, oily, and sweet mouthfeel in pretty good balance. Decent but not something I'd buy regularly. Wednesday, June 27, 2018

Kind of has a bit of a lactic creamy character, which kind of works. Moderate-plus sweet, lighter bitter. Hazy orange color. Thin ring of off-white head, some bits of lace. The aroma is cracker malt, with a bit of earth peat moss. The taste is the softly sweet cracker malt, earthy peat, and a nice soft roast and mineral. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and the mineral peatish finish. The bartender described this as an Irish Scotch ale sort of thing which was a perfect description. Nice one. higgsbison	3 Mt. Carmel Harvest Ale With My first taste I thought it might be a bit over hopped for my taste. Changed my mind on the second taste. And before drinking half of it I decided I quite like it. A quality brew Working on a six pack: Second tasting; first impression was that it was to hopped up for me, And this was after drinking a Belgian farmhouse pale ale. I did enjoy it better as it warmed up and the bitterness did become less objectionable. But was still too bitter for me. Also a bit bitter but not a normal hop bitterness and I didn't care for that either.that was my original assessment of it and I gave it a 2.5. Very cloudy gold color with sediment in the bottle, nice bittersweet nose with lots of citrus, somewhat slick texture, taste like the aroma.
