Sweet fruity aroma of pale malt, blueberry, funky yeast and lemon. Sweet fruity flavour of pale malt, pink lemonade, blueberry and Lacto in a dry, crisp, sour finish. Oakes	2.9 Dead Frog Apple Fritter Donut Ale Murky pale brown. Not much head. Big apple aroma as soon as you open the can. There’s a bit of cinnamon there as well. The base beer is weak, so the apple and cinnamon doesn’t have a good platform. A bit fizzy, so basically a concept you can work with but need a meaningful base and a bit better execution. Sweet aroma of grainy pale malt, red apple and grassy hops. Sweet flavour of bready pale malt, orange zest and grassy hops in a crisp, dry, mild bitter finish. Sweet aroma of bready wheat malt, peach, vanilla, yeast and floral hops. Sweet flavour of bready wheat malt, lactose, peach, vanilla and floral hops in a sweet finish. Aroma of grainy wheat malt, Belgian yeast, orange peel, coriander and floral hops. Mild flavour of bready wheat malt, Belgian yeast, faint coriander and floral hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. sulawang	2.9 Dead Frog Peach Creamsicle Can from Bottle Jockey bought in February 2023 for $4.25 CAD. -crisp thin malty, huge yeasty, peachy wheat banana malt, soft tangy bright, lingering bubble gum, thin body, astringent finish. Not much cream in this creamsicle and the peach is rather weak as well. Just average, it's aromatic but body is flaccid and watery. Tuesday, June 27, 2023

Attack: big sour Mids: puckery fleshy raspberry, sour tangy lemon malt, lvl3-sweetness Finish: sour hit, tangy lemon exhale Overall: very sour but with poise and balance. It has some pleasant aroma of tropical fruits; as per the flavour, there is almost no flavour here, no beer, with very mild fruity touch (the guava and passion fruit should really be more evident), and light yeast cake in the finish. Flavour is brighter and pinier, with bright piney hops, some earthiness and bready malt. Not all that bright or well-dialled in, but it still has the nice piney character. Fine. Attack: crisp soft creamy Mids: fruity pineapple coconut, short toffee malt, lvl4-sweetness, grainy bitter hops Finish: burpy, lingering sharp bitter, pineapple coconut exhale Overall: discernable pineapple and coconut flavour as advertised, well done. Malt is creamy but hop bitterness is a bit harsh. Would have like the pineapple-coconut combo in a brown ale. Still good. Saturday, March 20, 2021
