Amiata Crocus

Brewer: Birra Amiata
Style: Flavored - Other
Alcohol Content: 7%
Seasonal: Special

Description:
Crocus’ style is attributable to an abbey beer, with the particularity of the addition of pure saffron grown in Maremmafor its characteristic scents. Another key ingredient is the brewing water from Fiora, particularly pure and light, through long layers of porous rock of volcanic origin.

Crocus is a top-fermented beer, which uses yeast from Belgium. It is fermented twice, first in a fermenter and second in the bottle. Like all craft beers of quality, is produced with the best raw materials and with simple methods and ancient. The final product, not pasteurized, has aromas and flavors very special. The second fermentation in the bottle leads to a natural carbonation, which dilates the stomach.

To get the best carbonation is recommended to leave the bottle in the refrigerator at least 24 hours and then place it at room temperature at least 10 minutes before opening.

Ingredients: water, barley malt, saffron (from Maremma), sugar, hops, Belgian yeast.
