Back in merry old England, locals like Old Ebenezer (Scrooge after his enlightenment) celebrated special events by breaking out a brew called barleywine. The Brits crafted these ales from all their favorite English barley and hops in larger quantities to make stronger brews worthy of celebration. In this tradition we made our version with a nearly a ton of malt, English Phoenix and Kent Golding hops, and a British sense of celebration. Join us in a toast to good "Old Ebenezer". 35 IBUs
