Strong malt and a prickle of alcohol were the background to a massive hoppiness with oily, fruity, skunky Columbus steamrollering everything in it’s path... which is just what we wanted!! The hops grew oilier and even more bitter as the glass drained and the finish was a lesson in what Columbus is capable of... oily, juicy resinous hops, Amsterdam skunk, a huge bitterness yet still the malt and alcohol poked through... gloriously over the top and absolutely fantastic!
