It is no secret that Athens, Ohio isn’t a booming metropolis. In fact, Athenians believe that they live in a world all their own. I am never surprised when out-of-towners tell me that my home is "in the middle of nowhere." This beer is crafted with Athens’ finest maple syrup and honey. A decadent oatmeal stout aged in Woodford Reserve bourbon barrels. Small is good, hard to find uniqueness is great, and creativity spun by geographic isolation is even better.
