Pub-only. Thundeur is an experimental black ale made with charred Jeffery Pine needles, branches, and cones. Charcoal black in appearance, this beer has fragrances of roasted chocolate malt and sweet hints of vanilla. Mild smokey pine characteristics are complemented by burnt marshmallow and dark chocolate flavors. A pleasant aftertaste of scorched cocoa and subtle pine accompany the bitter finish.
