Belgian Barley Wine, aged in a single scottish whisky barrel with wood chips from old sherry casks. Only 620 bottles total.
Not all beers are as fortunate as this one. Normally a beer will be brewed, bottled, shipped, bought and then drunk. Not necesarily a long lifespan. But this belgian style barleywine was lucky. Is was the chosen one. Specificaly selected for a priviliged life, it was moved to an oak barrel and was able to hide there for seven months. Nobody would disturbe it as it reveled in its luck. Now though, it has been bottled and bought, but it has had the time to get ready to be drunk by you.
