Christmas is coming and the beer is getting festive! We are currently brewing a brand new Christmas beer – MANDARIN. MANDARIN is very special indeed. It uses a brand new German hop called Mandarina Bavaria which has a gorgeous orangey aroma. It is so rare that we are the only UK brewery that have managed to get hold of this Bavarian beauty. We have blended it with Columbus, a citrusy US hop that is the perfect compliment. Together they make a full flavoured mid-strength ale. It’s in the fermenter now. We will keep you posted.
We will only be brewing this beer twice because of the rarity of the hop, so it will not be available in bottle.
Mandarin is currently unavailable but we hope to brew it again for Christmas 2013. Hang on!
Only produced in cask (4.5% ABV).
