A rustic dark brown ale consisting of a large amount of wheat, and balanced touches of caramel and roasted malts. The soft hints of nuttiness, caramel, fruits, and spices are joined by earthy and herbal aromas and flavors from the addition of thyme. With savory nuances, Vigil pairs well with food. In ancient times, thyme was one of many herbs grown in monasteries and monks stuffed pillows with thyme to aid those suffering with insomnia.
