This light-hued beauty takes the classic German Helles (Pale) Lager style and gives it a twist! A white head of foam, spritzy effervescence and a pale yellow tone all indicate that this could just be a standard industrial brew but NO! Bringing the glass up to the nose proves the opposite; a tropical passionfruit, ruby grapefruit and lemon spice scent tantalises the nose thanks to the dry hop, following through subtly in flavour and finishing with a delicate and balanced bitterness, all brought together by New Zealand’s finest lager malts. Crisp, bright and clean - perfect for the warm weather that Wellington is renowned for!?!
