Bath Ales has responded in a positive manner to this and we are currently trialling a 2.8% abv beer called Solo. For now available only in cask but designed in the longer term to be a bottle beer. For now please and for budgets to come…No more Beer Duty rises – they simply do more harm than good. The real problem is successive governments belief that Beer Duty hikes are a quick fix and a long term solution. Wrong. Don’t just think again Gideon. Just Think.
