Description:
Baird Old Brown Ale is brewed to moderate gravity, 12.8 Plato, and enjoys a typically eclectic Belgian grist bill which includes both malted and un-malted wheat as well as malted rye. Hop bittering is moderate at 22 IBUs while hop aroma is little to none. Fermented warm with a Belgian yeast strain, the flavor manages at once to be sweet and a touch tart. The overall character is perhaps best described as sessionably complex.
