Back in August 2013 Ei8ht Ball sent two members of their team out to Chico, California to pay a visit to Sierra Nevada and to partake in what has become a well-known project called “Beer Camp”. Ei8ht Ball’s very own beer guru and Burgers & Beers Co-Host Brian Youtsey (Yatzy to everyone else) and assistant brewer Andrew (Turtle) Ritterbeck were among twelve lucky citizens to head west and be part of a once in a lifetime experience to experiment with the crew and equipment at Sierra Nevada.
After days of preparing, the group came up with a concept and recipe to brew their very own batch of beer on one of the biggest and most cutting edge systems in the world.
