Farro/Sonoran White Wheat from Hayden Flour Mills, 100 lbs of tangelos from the farm at Agritopia, Cardamom from Penzey’s Spice. By know you get the point we are trying to prove. This state has the power to create whatever it wants regarding agriculture! Arid-Zone-A, as some call it, created these tangelos. The succulent fruit is a cross between a grapefruit and a tangerine, creating the juiciest fruit we have ever tasted. We headed to Penzey’s Spice in Tempe and got one whiff of green cardamom and fell in love! The sweet/spicy character goes well with the citrus. Farro and Sonoran White Wheat is part of the grist to add depth, head retention, and just plain Arizona Awesomeness!
