Description:
Kol’Beer: Brewed using 100% German pilsner malt, Kol’beer is kolsch-style ale inspired by the great beers of Cologne. Its subtle malt character is balanced with just the right amount of hops. Clean, crisp, refreshing. 5% abv There’s somethin’ about drinking in Texas. Somethin’ about beat up floorboards. Somethin’ about faded neon. Somethin’ about threadbare pearl snaps over sun-beaten skin damp with humid laughter and jukebox ambitions. Somethin’ about all that somethin’ has an affect on a man. Many affects in fact. Just one of which is the sudden disappearance of the letter “d” from the tip of your tongue as you order another cold beer. Is it swagger? Is it the sweet lazy embrace of honky tonk ghosts? Whatever it is, it obstinately declares independence from the yankee “d”, and is now just col’beer. Or at its best, Kol’beer. “Kol” because—the very best col’beer–is Kolsch style. Historians who dropped out of college to party tell us Kolsch is German for “another round for me and my dachshund.” We won’t dispute such experts. We just know it’s easy drinkin’, easy ramblin’, easy dancin’, easy fishin’, easy whateverin’ brew. So wave to your bartender, wave to your buddy, wave to the imaginary chupacabra in the back of your beer fridge, and say “Kol’beer!” If they know Texas, they’ll know exactly what you mean.
