Smuttynose Tripel features all the hallmarks of its Belgian inspirations. The gold color misleads the drinker to expect something subtle, if not down right benign, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Sweet, round, and full of fruity esters from our distinctive Belgian-style yeast strain, Smuttynose Tripel is a nice sipping beer that is best enjoyed from your favorite tulip glass, especially the official Big Beer Series one. Conversely, Tripel’s fruity esters and rich mouthfeel mean you can pair the beer with ‘nearly anything from salads and fish to Mexican or Thai cuisine.
