Custom Brewcrafters is a micro brewery
that also contract brews for restaurants
and pubs in northwestern NY. Winter Seasonal December - March. This traditional Scottish-Style Ale is all you need to keep warm through a western NY winter. To make this beer as traditional as possible we scoured the earth for the finest Scottish malt we could find to truly capture the earthy, peaty flavor associated with imported scotch ales and single malt scotches. We then use a special mashing and boiling schedule to produce the fine amber color and caramel flavor associated with this type of beer. A gentle hop addition is used to balance the elevated malt content of this hearty winter ale.
