Description:
McRogue Scotch Ale is a hearty Scotch Ale, not to be mistaken for its cousin, Scottish Ale, which are lighter in color and body. McRogue is more scotch than ale. Deep copper in color, caramel aroma, rich malty flavor with a roasted malt background. This elixir was debuted at the 1995 Oregon Brewers Festival. McRouge is brewed with Great Western Harrington, Klages, Beeston floor-malted Amber, Pale Chocolate and pale Weymann Caramunich Malts, and rolled oats. Willamette and Kent Goldings Hops.
Measurements: 17.5 degrees Plato, IBU 45, Apparent Attenuation 77, Lovibond 28.6.
